Here in my city (Piracicaba - S�o Paulo/Brazil) there is a river (Piracicaba�s River) that crosses the center of the city.
I was driving near when i saw something not commom, a man fishing and giving the fishes to this "gar�as" (i don�t know the name of this bird in english). There was more or less 8 to 10 gar�as waiting the fish.
I took some photo and i post here to divide with you my friends.

No new PIO card is required unless 15 yrs is up. Get it endorsed with the new passport # on your PIO card from the embassy/consulate.

That bug does ring a bell actually. Resizing is a bit of a hassle in WPF - especially if you aren't using the default Windows chrome.
I will need to revisit this tutorial in the future and address some of the pain points that you and others have mentioned :)

Where did you get "25" days from? Also, wouldn't it depend whether you sent it to NSC or TSC?

Compliance is only for people who have filed on or before june 29th...So each of the service centres will complete receipting all I-485 filed on or before june 29th by the date mentioned in the compliance document....Then probably after that they will start rejecting I485 at their own pace..

Indeed. 140s are getting a lot of RFEs nowadays and are once again taking nearly a year. It is a brave soul that will avail themselves of the AC21 180 portability provision without an approved 140 petition.
The main points are the following, if you get an RFE and it has anything to do with your employer eg. ability to pay etc, can you count on them to send in that paperwork. If your employer withdraws the 140 application then you are left without a plank to stand on for your 485 as well.
Basically you are on very thin ice if you invoke AC21 absent an approved 140. If you are contemplating such a move, you should atleast consider doing it on a H1b visa as back up.
These are my views, please consult an attorney.

My wife has already gone to the consulate and got her stamping. So she is out of the loop, its only me who needs the stamp.
To put my question in a different way:
Will the consulate cancel/stops/statusquo my wifes H4 visa as the H1B is in "Admin Processing"?

I have H1b renewed on the basis of pending AOS application (EB3 june04) till 2012 and also ead/ap based on my spouse's AOS application. I am going to India on a vacation soon for a month or two. Recently I have heard many horror stories that even stamped H1B is getting rejected in POE. My question is that if something like that happen to me at the POE can I invoke my unused EAD/AP and request entry based on that? The reason I don't want to simply go back is because I have a house here in USA and a mortgage that I continue to be paying to keep the house.

Hello Guys,
I never received FP notice and got EAD/AP almost three weeks back. Is there a need to worry? or just wait..
My application reached to texas..they transfered to Cal...cal issued the EAD/AP and senta transfer notice for 485 to nebraska..didn't hear anything from nebraska..

There is a business visa (B1) he can apply. If he applies for the B2 (tourism visa) and tries to work, it will be illegal. He beeds to say "business" in the purpose of the visit column.

I received a duplicate order from Hewlett-Packard. Per the customer service person I was instructed to remove the shipping label and write the return number on the box, then call Fed Ex for a pickup, all of which I did. Now, a few weeks later my credit card account has not been credited. I've called the customer service people several times, and received a transmitting tracking number for the return. I've called Fed Ex who say what I have is not adequate to track the item supposedly sitting at their warehouse. I've spoken to the supervisor at HP, and she, like everyone else, keeps referring my problem to the "return specialist", who is supposed to query Fed Ex about this, but nothing happens. Their excuse is that they don't have the actual tracking number to do this. One HP rep I spoke to told me that the return item had not been scanned since the initiation of the return, implying negligence. Yeah somebody dropped the ball. Where do I go next to get some action taken?

The English name of the bird is "Heron", there's several different types of Heron, and I can't tell you which kind this one is.
I'd love to come and fish in your rivers... But perhaps a little bit further inland, sort of up were the Amazon comes into Brazil (near Venezuela/Peru) or so.. ;-) [Fishing with a net so as not to harm the fish, no hooks please...]

What is your LC Priority date? Many of my friends had used LC Sub with PD earlier to Dec 2004 and all their applications were approved in TSC. The yardstick for transfer of LC sub cases from TSC to NSC is mystery and we have to find a way to solve it.

Why do you need a signature from anyone in your company (or ex-company) on your 485. I-485 is your application and your employer has nothing to do with filing it.

I am (L1 B) in US since April 2008 with my wife (L2). Our I-94 and VISA expired on Oct 08. Before expiration my company applied for the extension of L1 (I-129). The status changed to "Request for RFE" on Feb 09. Got the RFE with 11 questions yesterday. The questions asked were more about my specialty, my company and the clients contract, other fellow aliens from my company working for the client's status and profiles. So now not sure what my company will do with the RFE.
My questions are -
1. If my company withdraws the L1 Extension petition, then how many more days I will be able to stay in US legally.
2. My wife is currently 22+ weeks pregnant, will US Govt consider anything for her medical situation?
3. Whats the possibility that VSC will accept the extension if we send the answers to the RFE?
4. If the petition is denied, then how many more days I will be able to stay legally?
I would appreciate if anybody can answer my questions.

I got EAD with "finger print not available" on card. Strangely ,Online status doesn't has any information it still displays that NSA received my EAD application and they are processing.It seems they are sending EADs but they are too busy to update their system.

Reports indicate that there are a huge backlog in scheduling medical examination in most of the areas in the country.
