So a question that's worth pondering. If I am on 485/EAD without H1b, does this mean I have the right to work but not the right to stay in the US?
The EAD card only gives us the right to work (as said on the card, cannot be used for entry), and my 485 has been pending for more that 240 days.
Is there any explicit stipulation for the 485 that allows me to be in the US as long as it is not denied?

There are LUD's twice on my wife's and my 485 in last 4 days first was on Friday 9/5 and the second was this morning 9/8.
RFE on my wife AP (131) was issued 2 weeks back, we haven�t received the RFE yet, Expecting it in a day or two, last week my wife called USCIS to find out what the RFE was, USICS customer rep opened a service request on her AP since it was more than 10 days RFE email and we haven�t got the RFE mail.
What could be the RFE for her AP, other than photo? Any clues?
Are the GC numbers available for EB-2 India for new approvals?
I am guessing the RFE is holding up our 485 approval, I know I being optimistic here, but who is not when it comes to GC. I will update my post after I see the RFE.

As you have said, try to prepare all documents to prove that your project will be lasting for 3 more years. That should help you getting a 3 year extension.

I found this really old post 11 2004. I saw your tutorial for coloring code. I am need a coloring page for www.walrusdogblues.com My fantasy is to have five colors red blue and yellow black and white. and the ability to drop them in the drawings as needed to blend the colors. If that is too complicated then something simpler. My illustrator will try and make crisp lines to drop color into. am I dreaming? "Money is no object"

If one changes to a new employer after 180 days,
How much support (documentation etc) does he/she need from the ex-employer or the ex-employers attorney?
After 180 days, so I assume I'll have the receipt notice and hopefully EAD and AP (also have I-140 copy).

Hi,
Looking at your current thread and all other previous threads related to the same topic, it seems clear that you have to start calling the concerned department as to why you have not yet received your applicant's green card. Looks like it is being processed as we speak based on the "Note from VB" you have posted. It's still better to call and find out. I am not sure who and what number to call for FB visa enquiries - but the data you give appears that your application is "ripe" for the plucking. There are lots of thread here suggesting how to get an info pass to talk to an Immigration Officer face to face. Search for the threads.
When you pose a question, can i suggest -
1. Give all the information that the readers needs to answer. For ex: we don't know which country the applicant is chargeable to.
2. And give all information in one thread. Make up your mind what your concern is and post the question(s) in one thread. Try not to put some question out there and hope it sticks.
Good luck.

While out shooting today, I came across a pond with bullfrogs. I captured one sticking his head out of the water. I knew it was a wasted frame and never intended to use it for anything and probably should have deleted it. I shot the image with my 75-300 handheld at 300 mm, f/8, at 1/250 sec. Generally this is a combination that isn't worth the energy required to push the shutter button, particularly with a lens that is far from award-winning. For fun, I decided to see how well the image (original is RAW) would hold up with severe cropping. All PS processing done essentially the same. Frankly, I'm impressed with the results. To see the blood vessels in the frog's eye with that much of a crop is impressive. What do others think?

Hi All,
I have recently applied for my wife's EAD to Phoneix Lock box and got the Receipt from NSC with the LIN number. RD: 02/25/11 and ND:02/28/11. Check also got cashed. I tried to access that receipt number in USCIS case status website online to get the status yesterday 03/09/11; it says the case number is not found. I am sure I typed the correct receipt number. Any idea what could be wrong? Has anyone experienced this before? Should I contact the customer service? Please help me.
