Since your GC is for future employment, your current employer might not be able to support you on H1 but you can always get them to support you for future employment and so they can still not revoke your 140 petition process. So if possible be on good terms with them and ask them to keep your 140 process intact
I have a I-485 pending, and there is a chance I may be laid off after 180 days. Would I have to have another similar job offer at hand, or can I still continue looking for a job after 180 days of I-485 till I find one ?

Can you please share your experiences with renewal of Indian passport in US. They are asking for 3.5cm x 3.5cm photos which are not same as the regular passport size photos. The CGI Houston website mentions passport size photos as requirement in some places and 3.5cm X 3.5 cm photos in some other places. Can you please share on what you did for the photos? thanks a lot.

1. I am working part time on EAD with my sponsoring company and full time with other company under different position and less requirements than labor certification. I want to leave full time company and want to open a business firm. Is this okay? Along with my own business do I have to work for sponsoring company?
2. My daughter is going to college next year. Is she considered as international student or in state student? Her 485-I is pending under my derivative. She do have EAD and ss.
3. If my daughter turns in 21 years before our green card comes, then will she have any problems in getting GC?

This happened with me too yesterday and I wondered why it happened. I did get an alert message asking for this 'Trojan Horse ' to be put in vault'. It happened exactly while I opened this link and went to this site. Someone should send email to the owner of this blog to alert him.
My computer crashed several times after that and I had to reinstall OS to get rid of this virus. I am now in the process of installing all softwares again. All my strong anti-virus defense systems failed to stop this virus.
I got identical symptoms yesterday.. Have Mcafee..but after clean-up and rebooting my laptop won't come up..
Only reason am even writing is from my guilt of getting upset and blaming my young daughter who used the laptop just after I checked IV site. Other than getting the laptop back and make amends with my daughter have to see impact of data loss.
Hope this really does not happen again...

I am also in similar situation although no RFE yet. I have submitted a non-availability of birth certificate letter and affadivit of parents. I have the following questions
(1) Do we get the letter from the muncipal office from the place of birth or we can get from the muncipal office that we are presently residing. (birth was in UP , residing in TN)
(2)What is the letter for , is it for birth certificate or for non availability of birth certificate.

I am still waiting for everything. The only thing I have so far is Card Production email I received. I have not received approval mails or the cards. What is interesting is that 2 days before I received the CPO email I also received FP notices which is scheduled for first week of Nov. So I am confused whether or not they really approved my I-485.

The instructions will provide you with an (800) number to call to make an appointment to go to the nearest Application Support Center (ASC) to have your INDEX PRINT AND PHOTO TAKEN. PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. When you call the (800) number, please select the FINGERPRINTING OPTION. When you go to the ASC, BRING THE ENTIRE APPLICATION AND FILING RECEIPT AS WELL AS PASSPORT/DRIVER’S LICENSE . At the ASC they will photograph you and take your index print. The photo and index print will be digitized by the ASC and will be forwarded electronically to the SERVICE CENTER where the I-485 application is pending.
NOTE: THE ASC has a "PRINT OUT" of all the APPOINTMENTS that were made by calling the 800 NSC number. So when you go to the ASC they will have the information about your name, APP time, A#.
Things to take at the ASC:
Current Unexpired EAD.
Printout of the EAD APPLICATION that was filed online. (Note the ASC uses the "BAR CODE" on the Application to enter some data during FP)
Driver Licence

No, it is wrong, as you can see from the link, this is the correct address effetive July 30, 2007.
What I understood from my lawyer is to send the renewal documents to address at the bottom of I-485 notice. I may have understood wrong.
