Diploma is not considered for GC. It is useful for H1B.
Try in EB3. Still not give 100% guarentee.
They need 4 year single source education/degree, for US equivalent.
My friend with 3 year degree + 1 year B.ED degree + 2 year MSc denied for EB2 for education. Evaluation done with most advanced evaluator. Still denied, now on appeal with AAO. Even with 6 year total university studies not accepted. How they accept your 3 year degree.

My employer has always provided me the receipt numbers. I'm talking about the physical receipt notice which I might need just in case i need to invoke AC21.
IF you have used your personal checks the receipt is usually at the back of the checks. Esle just call the help desk and give all your information and if the guy is in good mood he can provide you the receipt number.

I was told that Sen. Pelosi did not directly endorse the bill, but she is fine with amnesty bills. I think we may finally see something cooking. If we don't, then chances are we need to wait till 2009 !!

They might want to know if you are maintaining your status. for that they might ask the latest pay stub. It happened to me. Once I sent my pay stubs, it was approved. If you dont have the paystub, then you are in trouble.

If possible, speak to the attorney directly - try not to believe the paralegals unless they have your utmost trust.

I spoke to 2 attorneys...we just cant trust them..it will be finally we who will get screwed big time..
1 said, we can get an RFE asking for the latest i94.
2nd said...in the worst case senario..we will get the H1 issued without the i94..which means that we have to back to home country for H1 stamping..that will be a nightmare in Madras in my case..!!

No I stayed with a relative in thane who dropped me to vfs in Mumbai. I did not want to trouble them, but my backup plan was to check into a hotel the earlier night. A search on google "us consulate mumbai hotel" does reveal the hotels in Mumbai. It does appear that there is no hotel in the area, most are 4-5 kms away so u do have to take a taxi too.

Thanks for your comment.I am afraid you mis understood what I said medicine and pharnact vet med etc. There are practitioners in these fields called MD, DVM, PHARM D etc. However there are many more PhD students who do research in these fields. And they are not listed as STEM graduates. I guess whoever did this listing of the STEM majors don't really have much knowledge about various fields of research and also they ignored the highly multidisciplanary nature of the current day research. I hope more people will start taking this issue seriously.

The Forums are not secure as they are watched by anti immigrant groups. Key communications like this can only be through state chapters as the membership to the state chapters are secure. I totally agree, you should first have an RFE in hand and the decide if it is urgent or a simple one which one can handle.......... if URGENT then do search threads to see what solutions are stated, if none match your criteria then you are welcome to post on a new thread.
Without RFE in hand, you will only get unrelated answers, instead of giving you solace it will worry you more. Like people might suggest, your old employer may have revoked your petition or you might have done something wrong in filing for AC21 (IF you have done that)............... so let it just come and then decide.
Since this was your first RFE , do not worry. I believe all of us pass through this stage of RFE , now it may be at any stage. I too got mine on 140, but gotaway with it.
Relax you will be fine.
